The unsurpassed braking capacity of the Forged Narrow Superlite 4R four-piston caliper serves as the base of this 12.19" big rotor kit for these popular 84-89 Jeep YJ model vehicles (including Cherokee, Comanche, Wrangler and Wagoneer). Kits also can be fitted to select 1990 to 2006 YJ & TJ vehicles if retrofitted to the earlier 84-89 YJ spindle. SL4 kits are engineered application specific for simplified installation and full compatibility with OE master cylinder output and ABS functions where used. Big brake kits provide increased brake capacity and complimentary style with wheel, tire, and suspension upgrades. Optional caliper finishes and rotor designs simplify personalizing the style and braking requirements of any application.

Lifted 4x4s with taller and heavier tire and wheel combinations need Wilwood Forged Narrow Superlite 4R big brake front brake kits to restore stopping power. SL4 kits are specifically engineered per application, but all revolve around Forged Narow Superlite 4R four-piston stainless steel calipers with their 4-symmetrical bores and high clamping force. Oversized, proprietary iron alloy, Spec 37 rotors withstand extreme temperatures and have a high degree of resistance to warping, cracking, distortion, and wear. Both of these parts are built to work hard without issues, but Wilwood's kit doesn't stop there. They also feature forged aluminum mounting hats, BP-10 Smart Pads to increase friction and reduce pad dust, radial mounting brackets, and hardware.
