High Performance 8 layer air filters are made of the highest quality textiles; pleated between a top and bottom aluminum screen. Each filter comes pre-oiled and ready for use. This design will allow the highest air flow rate possible and a very long filter life.
Volant's Primo filters address the need for extra protection from dust and debris with a washable/reusable, oil-impregnated cotton gauze filter. These Volant Primo filters feature a new filtration technology aptly called Pro-Guard 7 that's been designed to catch the smallest of particles as air passes through the filters. They're made of five layers of cotton gauze and two layers of a random-porosity, non-woven synthetic polyester fabric that are sandwiched between an epoxy coated aluminum wire mesh.
