Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air. Customers using the Volant CAI kit with the scoop report 2-4 MPG improvements in fuel economy, as well as dyno-proven horsepower and torque increases. Volant is the first air intake company to properly apply a functioning Cool Air Scoop to a sealed air intake box. This model includes a Pro-5 filter which gets reoiled every 10,000 miles and serviced every 50,000 miles with cleaning kit P/N 5100.

They house a MaxFlow 5 oiled cotton gauze air filter that is cleanable and reusable. Being an enclosed system, the air intake keeps your engine quiet at cruising speeds, but still allows it to roar to life when you stomp on the gas. This design protects the filter and ensures that colder air is pulled in from the fender instead of the engine bay—resulting in more horsepower and torque. These intake units are factory-tuned, and everything you need for installation is included. Volant MaxFlow 5 air intake kits are available for fitment on a variety of makes and models.
