Volant air intake systems are designed to improve engine efficiency and increase power output for a better driving experience. Each Volant intake utilizes a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air increasing Horsepower and Torque. This model includes a Pro-5, re-usable, 5 layer cotton gauze air filter which requires re-oiling every 15-20,000 miles and serviced every 50,000 miles with cleaning kit P/N 5100 to maintain optimum performance.

Together they provide your vehicle with efficient power, performance, and low maintenance. Volant DryTech closed box air intake kits feature: * Fully enclosed filter box design blocks heat and allows for maximum filtration protection in harsh environments * Custom-formed air ducts streamline the air path and maximizes air volume, improving horsepower, torque, and throttle response * Silicone connector--premium grade silicone hoses create airtight connections, plus provide excellent strength and flexibility, while resisting drying and cracking * Premium hardware--stainless steel clamps, silicone connections, neoprene gaskets and automotive-grade nuts and bolts hold up to a lifetime of use * DryTech 3D synthetic filters are washable and reusable
