Turbosmart Gen-V electronic anti-lag valves are perfect for motorsport and high-performance applications featuring fully electronic actuation, removing the need for the solenoids and tanks of traditional pneumatic systems. They feature a 40mm valve diameter and purpose designed actuator housing. Multiple fittings are also supplied for ease of fitment and fabrication. The fresh air valve allows incoming charged fresh air from the turbo to be diverted safely into the exhaust manifold pre-turbine wheel with throttle at low opening angles. This allows for safer spooling of the turbocharger without potentially damaging the throttle based late combustion event style anti-lag that can induce high engine stresses and break connecting rods.
