The Raptor is designed to be an off-road capable truck, and it accomplishes that very well. While it’s meant to bash in the dirt, there are still some improvements that can be made on the truck. Your Raptor comes from the factory with some protection in the form of a front skid plate, but the engine and transmission are left entirely exposed. Whether you are pounding the pavement or slinging dirt, you never know what could happen. Protect your Raptor’s transmission from damage with the Borne Off-Road Transmission Skid Plate. Designed to be tough as nails, the Borne Off-Road Transmission Skid Plate is constructed from 5/32-inch plate steel and is ready to take whatever abuse you can to throw at it.
