For high load applications, King SM-Series rod bearings contain the strongest aluminum-based material offered by King. The alloy is strengthened by the addition of manganese and chromium. King SM-Series connecting rod bearings feature a traditional steel-backing, plus an aluminum bonding layer and the aluminum bearing alloy. These replacement sets are available for a variety of vehicle applications.
