Introduced recently to Australia, Gen-Y (pronounced 'Jeenie', or 'Jenny', or 'Gen Y' depending on who you talk to), is a heavy-duty towing system designed for big loads, with rubber torsion springing to take the shock out of towing and height adjustment to allow your trailer to low level – whether it’s a backhoe behind a Dodge RAM, or a big caravan behind a Toyota LandCruiser. The centrepiece of the patented Gen-Y system is its Torsion Hitch, which slots into the receiver of a suitably-rated tow bar. Note: While Gen-Y hitches have been designed, engineered, and manufactured to comply with the most stringent U.S. standards, not all Gen-Y hitches have been tested in accordance with ADR standards. As such, Gen-Y hitches are offered for off-road use. Please contact us for a full list of hitches that have ADR approvals. Note regarding tow-ball sizing: Please verify your trailer coupling size. Unless otherwise stated, if a ball is included with this product, it may be supplied with an imperial sized ball. It is important that you ensure compatibility with your trailer. U.S. market hitches typically are supplied in 2", 1-7/8" or 2-5/16. IMPORTANT!! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO COUPLE A TRAILER WITH AN INCORRECTLY SIZED TOW-BALL.
