This BBK Varitune complete Mustang cat back exhaust system is designed to fit all 1987-1993 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 with turn down tips and offers something no other cat back kit can do. You can tune it to sound and perform how you want it to. All kits are a direct replacement for the 2.25 restrictive factory system and have been designed and built here in the USA using the BBK patented adjustable Varitune performance mufflers and 2.75 CNC mandrel bent aluminized tubing for maximum exhaust flow.
BBK's VariTune cat-back exhaust systems feature their VariTune mufflers that have a patented adjustable power valve inside, allowing full adjustment of the exhaust flow through the muffler chambers for great sound and added performance. This adjustment is made at the rear of the muffler with a wrench by either moving the valve in or out. Once you are happy with the level of sound, it is locked in place with the VariTune locking nut. All power valves are made with stainless steel for lasting durability and continued smooth operation. These patented BBK exhaust systems allow you to personalize the power and sound levels of your car 8 to 10 decibels and 10 to 15 hp. The aluminized steel piping with brushed stainless tips allow a direct bolt-on replacement for the restrictive factory system.
