8" Tall Air Filter: This intake system utilizes a pre-oiled, 8" tall inverted top conical 360 degree radial flow performance air filter with 5-layers of progressive finer mesh cotton media providing maximum airflow and performance. Mandrel-Bent Tubing: wo Piece 3-1/2" Mandrel-Bent Wrinkle-Black Powder-Coated aluminum intake tube directs unrestricted airflow from the filter to the throttle body for more horsepower and torque. One-Piece Heat Shield: Sturdy 18 Gauge Powder-Coated One-Piece Heat Shield blocks performance-robbing engine heat. This heat shield requires no assembly and uses factory mounting locations for fast and easy installation. 3-Angle Adaptor: The 3-angle adaptor is used to speed up the airflow after the air filter for improved performance and throttle response. Hassle-Free Installation: All clamps, couplings, and hardware are included for hassle-free installation. This is a direct bolt-on kit that requires no cutting or drilling on factory parts. Using durable, one-piece, 16-gauge powdercoated heat shields, the Stage 2 intakes feature aFe's Pro 5R air filters that improve airflow for increased horsepower and torque. These Magnum Force systems also utilize precision-designed, heat-insulating, roto-molded intake tubes that increase airflow with improved volumetric efficiency for maximum performance. With five layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media between a 100 percent polyurethane top and base, Pro 5R high-flow, oiled, conical filters are washable and reusable for multiple cleanings. Their tall, open, evenly spaced pleats provide excellent dust-holding capacity for longer service cycles between cleanings. In addition, a pliable polyurethane flange with integrated bumps assures a tight, no-leak seal over the life of the filter.
