Stock stamped steel control arms with soft rubber bushings deflect under load and absorb power instead of transferring it to the tires. BMR?s polyurethane, non-adjustable Rear Suspension Kit (RSK012) consists of upper and lower control arms for early A-bodies. Manufactured from heavy-duty 1x3-inch, 0.120-inch wall rectangular steel tubing, the lower control arms provide all the strength you?ll need for any performance application. The upper control arms are manufactured from 1.625-inch diameter, 0.120-inch wall DOM steel tubing, strong enough for any compression load. Greasable, 95-durometer polyurethane bushings add a solid, more responsive feel over the stock rubber bushings. BMR?s bushings are internally fluted, which keeps grease in the bushing, even under heavy load. These flutes also direct grease to the outer edge of the bushing, keeping the thrust surface lubricated. This efficient lubrication ensures quiet, reliable operation over the life of the bushings.\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003eStabilize your ride with BMR control arms. They are CNC-machined and made, depending on the application, from heavy-duty DOM steel tubing, chromoly steel, or 6061-T6 aluminum. BMR polyurethane bushings are designed to be compliant enough to give you a comfortable ride and absorb NVH, while remaining firm enough to stand up to high loads of any performance environment. Their greasable bushings are internally fluted to allow grease to coat the inner sleeve, while keeping the thrust surface lubricated—ensuring quiet, reliable operation over the life of the bushings.\r\rBMR's heavy-duty spherical bearings are designed to eliminate deflection and wheel alignment changes. Their spherical bearings can withstand the extreme stresses of the performance environment, offering all of the bind-free suspension articulation needed for great handling.\r\rThese design features result in incredibly strong control arms that greatly improve performance and work well in street performance, drag race, and handling applications. Many are adjustable, allowing you to dial-in pinion angles for correct driveline geometry, or correct, add, or reduce negative camber and other alignment settings.\r\rBMR control arms are the perfect upgrade for the enthusiast looking to improve performance at an affordable price, while maintaining acceptable NVH levels and ride quality.
