Constructed from XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer, it is heat soak resistant and extremely durable. A factory-style Helmholtz Chamber is integrated into its design, toning down any drone. The sealed XLPE polymer housing features a rugged design, inspired by off-road tires, as well as a clear sight window, allowing for hassle-free filter inspection. aFe POWER's patent pending filter-to-housing interface eliminates the use of an overabundance of parts, further simplifying the installation process. Additional cool air is brought into the housing via the factory air inlet scoop. All stainless-steel clamps, hardware, and injection molded and silicone couplings are included for a hassle-free installation.
